On our previous trip to Costa Rica, we did not get a good look at an Aracari. Despite the weather not cooperating this trip, we did get to see the Collared Aracari up close. It was our last full day on property and I was running around looking at various Sloths. There was a nature guide at Nayara that saw me with my camera and told me where a sloth was that was really close to the ground. As we were talking, she told me they have fed some of the Aracaris and they were seen close by earlier. My timing must have been perfect because I came across three of them after I left the Sloth. They seemed to be feeding on Locusts.
