A strong geomagnetic storm made the aurora borealis visible across the East Coast this past Thursday night. I decided to head over to a walking path to shoot the Northern Lights through some trees. The color was very purple/red compared to the typical green you typically associate to the Aurora. While they weren’t quite as vibrant as the ones I saw during my Iceland Trip, it was pretty cool to see them from home. Even my friend in South Carolina could see them!
