2023 is over and it is time for me to pick some of my best photos of the year. This is a very hard thing to do. I have over 2,500 photos from 2023 to sort through, and those are just the ones I kept. I probably took over 7,000 photos in the year, which is a conservative estimate. The Sony a1 camera can take 30 photos a second, so it's easy to take hundreds of pictures at a time.

My wife and I visited the Maldives, Mexico, and Iceland in 2023. I also went New York City, out on many birding trips, and even went to Benezette, PA to see the Elk roaming the countryside.

After a long review, here is what I chose for 2023. Some of these photos will have been seen in my other posts, and some will be new, never before seen images. Sometimes a single picture doesn't warrant a whole post as there would be a minimal story about it. Enjoy the photos and keep on the lookout for new posts in 2024!
